Stop letting fear speak for you

Baccalauréat, oral exams, university exams, competitive exams, driving test, job interview, public speaking: be at your best on the day that matters.

You have worked hard, you know your subject… and yet, on the day, everything vanishes. Your throat tightens, your hands shake, your heart races, and your mind goes blank. Sometimes the fear starts weeks before: restless sleep, a knot in your stomach, the urge to put everything off.

It is neither a lack of work nor a lack of willpower. It is your unconscious sounding the alarm, often because of a bad past experience: a failed oral, a humiliating remark, family pressure, a setback that left its mark. Hypnosis and EMDR make it possible to work precisely at that level.

Garance Fiedler, hypnotherapist and teacher

A dual perspective

22 years on the other side of the desk

As well as being a hypnotherapist, I have been teaching history and geography in a French state secondary school for 22 years. Tests, baccalauréat exams, oral exams: I go through them every year alongside my students.

I have seen brilliant students fall apart in front of a blank page, and others reveal themselves the day they stopped being afraid. I know what a teacher or an examining panel really expects, and how much stress can hide what you know.

This experience allows me to understand very concretely what you are going through — or what your child is going through — and to adapt our work in session to the reality of the test ahead of you.

Who is it for?

Every situation where you are being assessed

Secondary school students

Tests, baccalauréat, Grand oral, international exams. For a teenager, we first talk it over together during the discovery call.

University students

End-of-term exams, competitive exams, thesis defences, final exams: when the stakes raise the pressure.

Adults

Driving test, job interview, language or civil-service exams, professional assessment, public speaking.

How I support you

  • Understanding where the fear comes from: during the 3-hour first session, we take the time to find what set it in place.
  • Defusing bad memories: with EMDR, a failed oral or a past humiliation can lose its emotional charge.
  • Calming the body: hypnosis helps soothe the physical reactions to stress and find calmer sleep before the big day.
  • Picturing the day itself: we work on the precise situation ahead of you, so you can approach it with more calm and confidence.

When should you come?

Ideally a few weeks before the exam, to give the work time to settle. But even close to the deadline, a session can be useful: let’s talk about it during the discovery call.

3-hour first session: €200 · Follow-up session: €80 · Fees and terms
